2 week southern Italy honeymoon

Hi everyone! Would love some insight…my husband and I are planning our honeymoon to southern Italy in September (I know it’s soon lol) and we are struggling with where to go and what to do. We are trying to work with a travel advisor and it just doesn’t seem things are clicking with their recommendations and what we want.

We are thinking Puglia, Amalfi Coast and Naples or Rome (our advisor said Naples was unsafe so he wouldn’t recommend, but I have friends that have gone and haven’t said that so unclear)

Where in Puglia should we stay town wise? I know it’s a huge location, and will probably be there 3-4 days. Any insight is soooo appreciated, we are hoping to go for 2 weeks!
