Advice- Italy trip or South Pacific Cruise?

Hi everyone! My fiance and I are very torn on our honeymoon plans. I was wondering if anyone had similar itineraries or had advice to share. We are hoping to keep the honeymoon under 10k and are looking to go for about 2 weeks. We like a mix of adventure/exploring with relaxing. I can't just sit on a beach for two weeks, personally.

Our first option is an Italy trip….we were thinking about spending a few days in each city, maybe doing 3-4 cities. Some cooking classes, some wine tasting, some exploring. Maybe a few days at the Amalfi Coast. I haven't narrowed down which cities. He's also interested in Sicily, but if we did Sicily, I'm not sure we would have the time to go to other islands as I've heard it is out of the way.

Our second option is a 12-day cruise that stops at 4 Hawaiian islands and 3 islands within the French Polynesia. I think this may be less stressful to plan, but I've also never been on a cruise. We'd have the opportunity to explore the islands during the day, go on a few excursions, but also relax on the ship.
