ADVICE NEEDED PLS – Bali Honeymoon: FS Sayan vs Mandapa vs Kayon Jungle Resort

Hiiii there! I’m last-minute planning my honeymoon, which is in less than 3 weeks, and I still need to book a resort! We plan on staying just 4 nights.

I’m deciding between:

Four Seasons Sayan (we would book the Riverfront One-Bedroom Villa): – Concern: They’re having some “lobby enhancements” during our stay (“Please note that our lobby will be undergoing enhancements from November 6 to December 15, 2024. During this time, check-in will take place in a villa overlooking the river valley, Ayung Terrace will serve breakfast only (from 6:30 am to 11:00 am), Jati Bar will move to a location along the Ayung River, and our Fitness Centre will be temporarily relocated to a venue with a private pool and gender-specific changing rooms.”) Does this mean the famous pond will be closed? Will this limit dining options? – I’ve read that it’s an older resort, so the villa interiors are slightly dated and may show some wear, though some people say it’s not too bad. – Love the unique option of checking in via water rafting (if I’m understanding that correctly)! – Love the add-on experiences such as the “Can you keep a secret”, “professional holiday photography” – They offer personalized dinners like “A night of culinary romance”, “Sayan Valley Picnic”, “Chef’s Table Dinner” – The price doesn’t include anything except the stay—is it worth it if breakfast isn’t included, etc?

Mandapa (we would book the Riverfront Pool Villa): – Concerns: is it too secluded? – It comes with a large price tag – Not sure about the prices for add-ons like “In-Villa Romance,” “Sounds of the Ayung River,” and “Grace by the Rice Field.” – I’ve read that the butler service is exceptional and that the service overall is amazing – Price includes breakfast daily

Kayon Jungle Resort (we would book the KAYON PREMIER POOL VILLA): – Concern: Is it too crowded? I know many tourists purchase a day pass to visit their “Wanna Jungle Pool and Bar.” – Not as secluded as the other two resorts and doesn’t have the Ayung River views like the others in the villa – It has a hot tub, so we could swim at night, which is a plus since I’m unsure if the plunge pools at FS Sayan and Mandapa are heated. – The price includes daily breakfast, afternoon tea, etc (and more) – Def more affordable and offers additional values – If I sign up as a member, I’d get additional perks like honeymoon decor, a welcome treat, floating breakfast in the villa, and checkout amenities. – Concerns: is it not as luxurious as the other two resorts – They have nice add-ons too, like the “Romantic dinner at puspaka chapel”, “romantic dinner at sky lounge”, “Canon Jetty Degusition Dinner” – Seems like they have more selections – The newest resort out of the three resorts

What are everyone’s recommendations? I know I must be missing some benefits from FS Sayan and Mandapa—if so, what are they? What’s truly worth it, especially since this is a once-in-a-lifetime honeymoon? What is worth our money?

Thanks everyone!! Hoping to make a decision in the next few days!
