Edit: I'll settle for not an all-inclusive, just not wanting costs to climb to astronomical heights and stick to a $5k budget I’m at my wit’s end with this!
Due to visa restrictions, my fiancé and I are only able to honeymoon within the US after our wedding, and I’m trying to find a resort/hotel stay within a budget max of $5000 for the first week of August. We’d like a beach stay, but doesn’t have to be a beach, definitely would like a more adult-oriented stay (as opposed to family stay) with a honeymoon (or ish) vibe.
We’d rather not waste precious (and scarce..) PTO on travel, so Hawaii is not preferable, but if it’s within budget, we could swing for that.
Please don’t recommend Florida, Georgia or generally the southeast because hurricane season starts around August, and at best, it would be rainy.
