We’re getting married in between Florence/Rome in late Oct 2026 (wedding festivities end the 25th). Afterwards, we’re hoping to trek down to Africa to check out safari (& if within budget, adding the beach for a couple of days could be nice).
Initial considerations were some sort of combination of Kenya, Tanzania, or Zanzibar, and thinking 7-10 days is probably a sweet spot, but honestly open to any suggestions. I’ve been further south in Africa, but it was a study abroad trip in uni so I had to do little to no planning on my own.
Budget-wise, less than 15k would be great. Not looking for anything I would call “luxury,” but would want to sleep in beds/cots rather than sleeping bags. I can find lots of luxury planners of course, but hoping Reddit would have some other ideas! TIA
