My fiancé and I are getting married in October, looking for a tropical honeymoon that is ideally all inclusive. I don't want to have to swipe my card for food and drink while I'm there. We're finding that anything away from the Americas (Typically around Asia from what we've looked at so far) are just too expensive and/or too long/expensive of a flight for our budget and length of time we can spend on vacation.
We have limited vacation planning/research experience, which right off the bat makes it a little more difficult. We're planning for 8-9 nights, and have looked around at a lot of different places but don't know all the tips and tricks for balling on a budget that seasoned vacation planners have in their bag. Do we hire a travel agent, do it ourselves, research tips and tricks, etc.??
