another post asking for destination advice!

So, as with pretty much anyone on this subreddit, my husband and i got married recently and have been trying to think of a honeymoon. Neither of us have been outside of America and really want to travel abroad. Not really looking to do any jumping around several places and we probably wont spend more than a week on the trip. We dont really have a budget in mind, just looking for suggestions for now. we dont know literally anything about traveling to other countries, my husband has never even been on a plane!

I know i'd like to avoid anywhere thats too "touristy" and full of traps. Like greece or paris. But i love mountains, trees, and being able to just explore. We'd love to do some beautiful hikes!

Also this might be stupid to add but want to note that i have really REALLY severe arachnophobia, i know that spiders exist everywhere but i would like to avoid countries that are more known to have very large spiders that just kind of hang around, think along the lines of australia. Also i'm really sorry if that sounds super arrogant, just dont want to spend my honeymoon on edge the whole time.

if anyone also just has any advice about traveling abroad in general i would love to hear it! like i said we never travel
