April 2025 All-Inclusive 7 night

Hi friends! Need suggestions because I don’t have confidence in my findings so far and time is ticking and I’m getting stressed 🙂

We are located in Arkansas in the USA. Our closest airport is XNA or Tulsa International. We are looking for an all inclusive or some chill and relaxing but also options to have fun if we get bored. We want to be on a beach, most likely the Caribbean. Budget that I’d really like to keep is 6,000. In my mind around 4,000 for resort and 2,000 for airfare give or take as needed between the two.

We currently have a reservation at Excellence Resort in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic. I’ve heard many mixed reviews, and I’m not sure what to expect. I am used to Sandals resorts, and not sure what to expect and I want it to be good for my fiance who has never been out of the country or really been pampered.

Do you have a favorite resort? Do you have any suggestions? Open to any and all recommendations!!
