I am currently trying to decide where to honeymoon in April 2026. We were hoping to get married in February and do Thailand, but the venues could not accommodate and we are not middle of April. We loved the idea of Bangkok, then Chaing Mai/Rai then beaches as it gives a good mix of things and ends with a relaxing time at the beach.
We will have 2 weeks, flights with points and looking to spend $20k or less on everything else(excluding flights). We are likely going to avoid the Carribbean bc it is so close and we can easily go for a long weekend/short week.
We have thought about France (paris, then wine county then S of F coast), Spain, Portugal, S Itlay but our fear with those is it will be too cold to enjoy to coastal areas. Not overly worried about the ocean temp, but want to be able to at least sit around in the sun. Another thought we've had is Fiji. Any suggestions?
