August in the Caribbean vs hurricanes

Hi all! We're trying to plan a tropical beach vacation at the end of August but not sure how much we should vary plans due to hurricane season. Does anyone have any input? Have been looking at Jamaica, the Bahamas, Aruba and Mexico but open to anything that isn't tons of air travel from the US. My fiancée has never stayed at an all inclusive so I was leaning more heavy towards those. Tyia
