Hello! My husband and I are looking to honeymoon in late May, but are flexible to go in June or July. We have a limited amount of time off (from US, east coast) and ideally don't want to spend more than $6k on our honeymoon, as we want to use some of the money for establishing emergency funds. My husband is a maximalist – he wants to cram in as much sightseeing/countries/cities as he can. I would rather sleep in a bed and not on a train for our honeymoon. The only compromise I can come up with is finding a city that can be a home base, but is accessible to other areas with lower travel times. I know Paris is the immediate thought, but I worry about cost. Any suggestions?
