We booked El Nido in Palawan and looks like we might cancel for 22nd May 2026-5th June 2026 due to not realising how much rain they get.
I've checked Bali, Mauritius, Thailand, Costa Rica etc all look like thunderstorms and raining this week which means there's a chance it'll be the same next year.
Am I right in thinking south Europe is our safest bet for sunny beach honeymoon? If so does anyone recommend anywhere? We like 50/50 splits of beach days and activities (hiking, snorkelling etc).
We liked Cefalu in Sicily, Naoussa in Paros, Agia Anna in Naxos, Cala D'Or in Majorca. We've been to Santorini also, Menorca and a lot of Italy.
Our budget for Europe accom would be about £3500 maximum for the 13 nights or for further away £2500 (due to flight costs)
