We are a couple from India, getting married later this year, and our honeymoon is set for mid Dec, 2025.
Plan so far:
Dec 15: Fly off for 7 nights of relaxing, nature, and zero stress.
Here’s the dilemma: Bhutan, Bali and Seychelles
Bhutan in Dec: Winter air, snow in the mountains, quiet monasteries, cozy nights by the fire. Perfectly peaceful… but cold.
Bali in Dec: Green everywhere from the rains, beaches, private pool villas, spa days… but also humid, and peak holiday crowds.
Seychelles in Dec: Warm, humid, short tropical showers.Fewer crowds than Bali.
Our priorities:
Nature
Space to actually talk and connect
Some light adventure — hikes, exploring some architecture, sunsets
Romantic spots for dinners, tea, or cocktails/mocktails
Bhutan makes more sense logistically from Delhi. Bali is easier on the wallet. Seychelles is expensive but less crowded than Bali. We’re torn.
If you were in our shoes:
Which would you pick for a honeymoon?
Any must-do romantic experiences?
Anything we should know about December weather in either place that could tip the scale?
