Brainstorming – we want easy beach access with beach food/drink waiter service, good views from the room, great food, and maybe an activity or two (Caribbean / Central America / Mexico)

Planning our honeymoon for late March 2026! Found your lovely subreddit and wanted to ask for any advice or tips you'd like to share.

We're looking at the Caribbean, Mexico, or Central America to keep our travel time down (flying from ATL). We don't want to do any kind of split stay – keeping it simple and staying in one place for 6-7 nights. I'd rather skip the whole Cancun area because I've been there before and we want to do something new (Cabo/other Mexico areas OK, and we'd still consider Cancun if it checked every box).

Must-haves:

  • Easy beach access (short and easy walk to and from the room)
  • Beach waiters/service – food & drinks delivered directly to our beach chairs – this is literally my fiancĂ©'s only wish (if we have to add on a beach cabana or something like that to get this, OK)
  • NO fighting or waking up early for good spots at the beach or pool
  • Good view from the room (ocean/mountains/greenery)
  • Smaller/walkable resort – don't want to wait for carts/shuttles
  • Under ~$1,600/night (can go higher if it's all-inclusive)
  • Air conditioning / fully enclosed room

Nice-to-haves:

  • Room with a private plunge pool, or a jacuzzi (for 2)!
  • Multiple food options (on-site or nearby restaurants)
  • Butler-style service for booking dinners/activities/etc
  • Activities – add-ons or easy access to things like kayaking, snorkeling boat tours, food/cocktail classes, cultural things, nature tours, etc.
  • Would be nice if it's close-ish to the airport
  • Points – I have Chase points, Marriott points, Hyatt points, IHG points, etc… if I can use some, great. Not a dealbreaker.

Any places you'd recommend for us? THANKS! <3
