Me and my Fiancée are full time volunteer NGO workers in the Himalayas living on a very small budget. We are getting married end of July and but paying for the whole thing ourselves since neither of our families are able to pitch in at all to help. We would like to plan an affordable honeymoon but this is also our only chance to justify tasting luxury or to go on a vacation for the next 20-30 years. We are getting married in Hawaii and are open to anywhere near or in the pacific but would prefer not to just stay on the Big Island.
Any suggestions would be so helpful, even tips with using point systems or deals going on.
My thoughts would be 7 days of honeymoon under $5,000 USD. We love adventuring and we like the ocean or tropics 🌴 since we live in the mountains. We also are experienced international travelers so going to other countries is something we would be comfortable with.
