Budget Honeymoon- September 2025- From Chicago

Hi all, my fiancé and I are getting married on August 30th. We live in the Chicago area and are looking to take a shortish (4-7 days) honeymoon right after the wedding. He has been going through intense treatment for cancer the last year so, we'd like so stay in the US or relatively close (Caribbean, Mexico, Canada). We'd love a destination that doesn't require a rental car but also doesn't require walking a mile or more to every activity, as his endurance is pretty low.

We are obviously on a bit of a budget. I think we'd be comfortable around $3k but willing to go up to $4k.
