Bungalow Beach Honeymoon

Hello,

My wife and I recently got married and are looking into places we can go for our honeymoon. I’m not too picky on the destination but she really wants a spot with nice water, and she doesn’t want to stay in a hotel, rather she’d prefer something on the water like a bungalow. We were interested in the Maldives at first but it’s extraordinarily expensive and very far, are there any options we have that can be managed within a 10,000$ or so budget? I can go beyond that but we also would like to buy a house so I’m trying not to overspend too much honestly if possible
