Caribbean honeymoon April 2026

Hello!

My fiance and I are marrying in begin to mid-April 2026 and would like to do our honeymoon in the same month. Depending on the wedding venue we choose we'll be flying from Belgium or Istanbul, with the return flight going to Belgium.

As the title suggests we're considering Caribbean destinations (after A LOT of thought). We're thinking of 10-14 nights spread over 2 islands, and 1-2 resorts per island (we want to spend at least 3 nights per resort). We were considering the Seychelles too with a second destination (Oman, Sri Lanka, Kenya, Zanzibar,…) or go another route with Namibia. There's just so many options, but we think the Caribbean will be the best option.

Right now we're looking at St Lucia and Grenada as a combination due to the short flight between the islands, and the fact we can fly in and out of both islands from Belgium with one stopover. Additionally, it seems like St Lucia is a more "nature and activity" destination while Grenada has several resorts where you can just lay back (and still do like 1-2 excursions maybe).

Currently I have booked 3 nights all inclusive at ladera to combine it with 4 nights at sugar beach or cap maison (or the other way around). We might also just book Ladera for the whole week, but we'd still want the ability to stay beach side which isn't an option at this resort. In Grenada we're eyeing the Six Senses, Sandals, Silversands (also has a sister resort with beach houses which we like), and some other boutique luxury resorts on the island.

We are open for recommendations however, our budget is approximately 15k euro (must include everything except the flights).

Anyone willing to share their experience/advice/expertise? Thank you!
