Cheaper honeymoon in SE US

Hi! My fiancee and I are getting married in June and are looking to go on a nice trip after our wedding. We are graduating undergrad this year and will both be graduate students in the fall. We will have stable finances for living but do not have large amounts of cash to splurge on a honeymoon (will get some help from family though). What are some recommendations of places in the southeast US, like SC, GA, FL that have nice resorts/hotels with a honeymoon feel but will help us save a little money?
