Maybe this is a pipe dream… but my fiance and I would really love to go on a honeymoon where we can stay in a beautiful hotel that has easy access to nature (possibly some chill hikes), and also to a cool city or series of small towns. We'd like to be able to decide what to do that day kind of on the fly, and not necessarily have to get in a car to go get there. Could be it isn't possible to get nature + a city + walkability all in once place! But if anybody has ideas, I'd love to hear them.
We aren't big beach people. We're in the US and would like to travel internationally. We'll likely go this year some time between September and November. We have already been to Iceland.
The only kinds of vacations I know how to plan are hiking vacations where you come home more tired than you left! But that is not the vibe we're looking for for our honeymoon, so appreciate any ideas 🙂
