Continental US Honeymoon

My fiancé is moving to the US on a fiancé visa and after we get married, he won’t be able to leave the US until he gets his temporary green card.

That being said, we’re looking to find cool resorts or destinations within the continental US (mostly because Hawaii is too expensive) to have our honeymoon.

We live in Minnesota but are open to anything on either coast, the south, cool lake resorts, etc. We’re fans of Airbnb and Vrbo so feel free to send your recs for those too. Thanks!
