East coast USA waterfront suggestions

Hi me and my soon to be husband are getting married in June. We want to go on our honeymoon right after wedding (first week in July) but can’t afford your typical tropical vacation. I’m looking for a city that is either on a lake or ocean for waterfront views and beaches, but also a great food scene. I’m also not trying to fly ideally, so trying to keep the drive around 11 hours or less from Cleveland. I love Michigan and we’ve visited Muskegon a few times but their restaurant scene leaves much to be desired. I was thinking Charleston, SC but I’m curious on other suggestions!
