My (female 29) fiancé (male 29) and I are starting to plan our honeymoon for August of 2025 and we’re torn between finding a beautiful, beachy, coastal destination but also wanting a nice city to explore after a beach day. We absolutely loved our time in Sorrento, Italy and would love to have a similar experience for our honeymoon. So far we have looked at Lisbon Portugal, Barcelona and Valencia Spain, Greece and Croatia. We really like the vibe of Lisbon and Spain but I’ve read waters in Portugal aren’t warm enough to swim. Does anyone have any suggestions for beautiful beach town in Europe that will allow us to explore the city as well?
