European Honeymoon Accomodation Budget

Hi Everyone.

Im travelling from Sydney, Australia to Europe for the first time for my honeymoon (Namely Sorrento, Rome, Florence, Nice, Lisbon, Madeira, Porto & Paris). Our trip lasts one month.

We already have accomodation booked totalling $16,000 AUD or $10,000 USD for the entirety of the stay. This was with picking well reviewed, rather nice accomodations. Nothing too shoddy as we are both clean freaks.

I am just scratching my head wondering if this is in anyone's opinion, too expensive for the trip or is it rather reasonable for a month? Im trying to look around to see if i can save some money on accomodations anywhere else but it is rather hard 2 months out.

Any advice will be highly appreciated 🙂
