Family honeymoon in July in Hawaii

My fiancée, my step-son, and I are going on a family honeymoon in Hawaii in July. Does anyone know the best activities to do as a family? Best place to stay? Or anything that will help our booking?

My fiancée and I are both 24 and my step-son is 11. We haven't talked about a budget, but we registered for excursions in Hawaii that people could buy us. Idk how many people will do that so we want other options. We love trying new things and are open to any ideas!
