French Riviera and Italy!

Hello help!

We’ll be honeymooning in March 2026. We’re wanting to go to the south of France and Italy, specifically to Tuscany and lake como. We have about 10 days. We know the weather in March isn’t ideal for the beach but we’re going towards the end of the month and hoping it’ll be nice enough to comfortably be outside if not in the water. Budget is about 10k + about 300k Amex points. We prefer boutique hotels, bed and breakfasts and airbnbs.

Would love to hear from folks who did similar itineraries! Where should our homebase be in France? We’d love to visit some wineries and do a day trip or two, but not have to switch hotels.

If you’ve been to lake como, what was a memorable activity that you did there? Where did you stay?
