Getting married in Maui. Where to go from there?

As title says, we are getting married in Maui in Nov. Our original plan was to spend a week in Maui for our wedding and then honeymoon for a week in Kauai. We now are exploring alternatives as we are realizing that Kauai is a place we will most likely come back to frequently. Since we are already going to be in Hawaii we are hoping to find a place with a direct flight. So far we are looking at Tahiti and the Cook Islands as Hawaiin Air flys to both and we have transferable Alaska Air miles. Curious on other opinions/recommendations. Happy to provide more details
