Hello! Choosing our honeymoon spot for the first two weeks of June 2026 and have narrowed it down to Greece or Northern Spain. For greece, we would start in athens and either split our time there and in Crete, or head up the mainland toward Thessaloniki.
For Spain, likely fly into Barcelona and head up to Bilbao, San Sebastian etc and into France, probably as far as Bordeaux.
We want romance, great food, good weather, swimming, authentic local culture, etc. i’m aware that northern spain temperatures can be unpredictable that time of year which is why I thought southern spain might give us good balance.
