Hawaii Beachfront Honeymoon in Mid-October — Recommendations

My fiancé and I are planning our honeymoon for mid-October and are leaning toward Hawaii instead of the Caribbean because of hurricane concerns. We want absolute luxury beachfront accommodations, amazing food, and a relaxing vibe with some light exploring — nothing crazy. It would be both our first times going and plan to spend 10 nights.

Some resorts we’ve looked at:

• Four Seasons Maui at Wailea
• Four Seasons Hualalai (Big Island)

We’d love: privacy, oceanfront rooms, great on-site or nearby dining, and easy, scenic activities.

Questions:

• Any firsthand experience at these resorts in October?
• Other luxury beachfront resorts in Hawaii you’d recommend?
