We are getting married in End of August and wanted to take a long vacation around end of December/January for about 2 weeks. We would like to enjoy an all inclusive experience for a few days, chill on an amazing beach/ so spa etc, but also would like to explore a new city and a new culture with good street food and attractions etc.
We did some research and thought to go to Mexico: start at Cancun/Tulum and then fly internally to Mexico city to discover the city side of the country.
We are flying out of Germany and want something that wouldn't exceed the budget of 8k euros.
We were about to book flights but then I was a little bit hesitant that we might have overlooked better destinations?
I know Bali is now very popular (but we are afraid it's too popular?!) We have never been to either Asia or America so both would be new, but we felt more attracted to Mexican culture, anyone who has been to both can give advice? Or any other recommendations for our preferences (crystal clear water/white beach/good resorts with serene vibes) + city cultural tourism, where we wouldn't be "bored" after 2 weeks? Thankss
