Hi all, i am devastated. We were supposed to leave next Monday (November 3rd) after our upcoming wedding (November 1st) for our honeymoon. We booked 8 days at Breathless Montego Bay Jamaica with access to the two other resorts nearby. Vent: I am currently in graduate school, working full time, and planned the entire wedding myself. I am so burnt out and was really looking forward to sitting at an all inclusive for 8 days and relaxing. I spent soooo much time planning the honeymoon and did so much research. All for nothing. I feel so incredibly deflated and sad. Ok I’m done venting! We have cancelled our Jamaica trip.
Now ….
Any suggestions on where we could go instead? The Dominican, Bahamas, grand cayman, and Jamaica are obviously off limits. BVI and USVI are risky too. I’m thinking Aruba, Cabo (price?), Belize, or St. Vincent or something similar. None of these places appear to be super all inclusive and relaxation friendly. I have been to Mexico before and that is the only tropical destination I’ve been so i was hoping to go somewhere new. Our budget is ~7k including flights from Boston. We have from November 3-11th. Any insight or advice is greatly appreciated.
