Help me narrow down options for South African safari – once in a lifetime honeymoon!

I’m trying to narrow down the choice of South African safari options for my honeymoon this November

I’m open to using travel agents but Ive received mix opinions on which part of the Kruger area is best. Eg, some say the main park is a must, Kapama isnt big/wild enough, Sabi Sands is too busy….etc. others have said the opposite.

The choices really seem endless!

Can anyone tell me how the main Kruger options compare. Or does it not really matter?

We were thinking of doing 4-5 nights on safari. I’d like to see the big 5 and have a luxurious stay if we can (budget £3k ish per person all inclusive ideally)

Some ideas:

Kruger National Park (Lukimbi, Hamilton Tented Camp) – Timbavati (Bateleur, Walkers Plains Camp, Makanyi, Kambaku River Sands, Simbavati River Lodge) – Kapama (Jubalani) – Sabi Sands (Savanna, Nkorho) – Mala Mala (Mala Mala camp) – Makalali (Garonga, Little Garonga)

Thanks!!
