Help us decide on a honeymoon destination!

Hi all,

Just like everyone else in this subreddit I'm looking for recommendations for my honeymoon in 2025. Here are the details:

Time frame: we're pretty flexible between July-December, but a strong preference for July.
Length: 2/3 weeks (flexible)
Budget: around 5K (USD) flexible, we can stretch if we find a dream location

Our dream honeymoon would be renting a car and exploring a combination of three things really: being able to be close to nature and go on hikes (we're avid hikers and live in Norway so we're already kind of spoiled here). Being able to go swimming in lakes, pools, etc. etc. and possibly having a private pool for two to three days and doing nothing/reading/sunbathing. And visiting romantic villages/cities with cobblestones, beer breweries, markets, boutiques etc. A nice 20-25 degrees Celsius would top it all off.

We've already traveled quite a bit throughout Europe (Italy/Austria/Germany/France), so that's off the table for now, and we went to Japan this year and although I absolutely loved it, I want to wait a bit before going back 😉 And we would be open for less conventional options if that means it's less busy (being July and all).

Are these things mutually exclusive? Do you have any ideas? I'm super grateful for any input really. Thank you so so much!
