Help with destination

I’m getting married in April 2026 and having a hard time picking the honeymoon destination. Me and my fiancé have never really been anywhere out the US. I flew to Hawaii as a kid and that’s about it. We’d love to go somewhere tropical. With the option of stay at the hotel the whole time or go out and adventure different restaurants or activities. I’d love to keep it all under a budget of $2500 including the flight, stay, transportation, food, activities etc. We live in North Carolina so probably be flying out of Raleigh.
