Honeymoon in Africa (8-Days) in July

My fiancé and I are planning our honeymoon in Africa for the summer of 2026. Our main priority is to see as many animals as possible while also staying comfortable and relaxed—since it’s our honeymoon, we’d love a balance of adventure and luxury/relaxation.

We’re open to any country or region in Africa. Our goal is to make the most of seeing the landscapes and wildlife. Our budget is roughly $20,000 USD including international flights, so about $17,000 on the ground.

We’ve received a quote for an itinerary for July 2026 (details below). I’d love to hear from anyone who’s traveled to Africa during this time of year or to any of these specific destinations. Do you think this itinerary makes sense? Would you recommend other places, or any adjustments to make it more memorable and enjoyable?

Thank you so much in advance for your help!
