Honeymoon in Ireland and Scotland – late June 2025

Hello all!

My fiancé and I are wanting to plan our honeymoon to Ireland and Scotland in late June of this year. We’ve been overwhelmed by the wedding planning process, and have not had much of a chance to start figuring out the honeymoon plan. We know we want to visit some castles, really take in the stunning landscapes, and eat at some really yummy spots with local food. We are planning for 10-14 days of a trip, and we will be flying from Switzerland to the UK to take a train to where we want to go (or we can rent a car – we aren’t sure which makes the most sense). We would love some help with ideas and suggestions! Anything in particular we should check out or do?
