Honeymoon in Japan and ???

Wanted to borrow the advice of expert honeymooners 🙂

The wife to be and i decided to do a small wedding so we can compensate and splurge on a 2 week honeymoon.

One destination we have in mind was japan, which was always a dream for both of us.

However, after a few days in japan which will be very active in terms of exploring, culture trips, etc, we wanted to go somewhere else to just relax in a resort with beautiful beaches. Somewhere ideally close to Japan.

Any advice is greatly appreciated
