Honeymoon in lonavala staying in Mumbai

Somi stay in Mumbai a middle class guy having decent amount of salary. So I am getting married in November and planning to go to lonavala(planning to book a luxury resort there for two nights (getting an offer)). Will it sound very cheap when I stay in Mumbai and for honeymoon we went to o lonavala? I checked other places the prices are way too high just for travelling which I can't afford. Parents said the girl will be having expectations to go here or there for honeymoon don't take her nearby just to save money as it's once in life moment of honeymoon.

I am really torn to either spend a huge amount on a great honeymoon or save it and take her nearby places and later other places too when I am better? Need advice
