Honeymoon in Philippines for a Week

Hello! We’re planning on traveling late January to the Philippines for our Honeymoon. We booked the first half of the trip: – fly into Manila and then fly into El Nido – Spend a few days in El Nido with boat tour, scuba, etc.

The next part of the trip was to head to Siargao Island, but looking at our options there’s no quick way to get there. Since that’s the case we’re looking at other options where we can ideally get a private hut/room on the beach. We’re currently looking at Cebu City and then Bohol or Siquijor for the final few days.

We’re not too sure at the moment so I wanted to come here and see if anyone is from the area or traveled there and what you’d recommend?
