Honeymoon – late 2025 to early 2026

Hi all,

We're looking for some suggestions on a our honeymoon. We are US based. Our budget is somewhere in the realm of 12k USD "all-in". Maybe a bit more or less depending on how much we can save the next year. The specific time for us doesn't really matter, we just want to go while kids are in school in the US, so August 2025 – April 2026,

We originally thought "cruise" but aren't really beach people, so the Caribbean (unless others have other ideas) sort of took a back seat. I'm interested in Alaska, but she doesn't do well in the cold. We're currently interested in staying in Greece for a few days and then hopping on a shorter cruise from Athens. We're much more interested in sights, food, etc. and would much rather have a "chill" honeymoon like sitting around eating and playing games/reading books as opposed to sitting on the beach.

Does anyone have some ideas of potential spots that might fit that bill? I want to avoid jet lag as much as possible (like going to Japan would be out for me). It doesn't have to be a cruise obviously.
