Honeymoon planning help- Caribbean or Mexico – Risk hurricane season in early November or postpone till January?

We're getting married early Nov 2025 and currently debating when/where to go on honeymoon!

We've been looking at AI resorts in the Caribbean or Mexico and had our heart set on going in November but I'm worried about two things.

1, hurricane season in early November for the main Caribbean islands – how much does this impact the weather there?

2, temperature and hours of sunshine in Mexico in November as I've seen reports that its mid 20s and only 5 hours of sunshine a day but then some websites say its late 20s/early 30s all day..

Am I worrying over nothing or is it worth pushing back the honeymoon till January 2026? We want a hot, dry honeymoon so would rather avoid the rain if possible!
