My fiancé and I are in the process of planning our honeymoon, we’re thinking 9-12 days in Europe in either late May or maybe September/October and we’d like a to do some exploring in the first half and relaxing in the second half. I’m pretty sure I’d like to start in Switzerland (2 days in Lucerne, 3 in Interlaken), but I’m struggling to decide on a relaxing beach destination.
My fiancé would love a hotel with a private, sandy beach. We’re trying to avoid renting a car if possible.
Sardinia, Sicily, Rimini, Mallorca, Faro Portugal all seem great and have tons of hotel options, it’s honestly a little overwhelming trying to pick one.
What recommendations do you guys have? Which country would you pick?
