Honeymoon safari in Tanzania or Kenya

My fiancé and I are planning on doing a safari for our honeymoon and I don’t know where to begin. I know we’re late to the planning game and that’s giving me more anxiety! We’re going to Egypt the first week of August 2025 then want to go on an African safari. We were debating between Tanzania and Kenya but it seems like the great migration will be best enjoyed in Tanzania during this time of year so I’m leaning more towards that. I found a retreat I like called Serval Wildlife Safari where the animals visit your doorstep and we can feed/pet some animals. Has anyone stayed here or tried their safari packages? Are there things to do/see outside the property? Do you think this is a good option for honeymooners or are there better hotels/safaris you recommend? The average price I’m seeing for accommodation alone is about $1,000 a night, not including the actual safari so I would like to try to keep it ‘budget friendly’ (under $1,000 a night).
