Honeymoon Thailand

Hi,

Considering a honeymoon in thailand for Jan 2026. Based on our research we currently have the following plan and would like recommendations in terms of locations and activities: 1. 4 nights in Bangkok – any hotel recommendations that are good but not very expensive?

1. 4 nights in Chiang Mai with a day trip to Chiang Rai. Any accommodation recommendation and activities?

2. 7 nights in the islands. Thinking of Phuket or Koh Samui. Any recommendation which would be better for a honeymoon? Would it be very difficult to visit both? We’d like to spend more on a very nice accommodation so would greatly appreciate recommendations on places to stay and activities.
