How are we figuring destinations?

I think I've done 7-8 plans and cant settle for anything. We're doing a 5-6hr drive, 1700 max to spend

I'm not necessarily sure what makes this different from a vacation. I've not had a honeymoon or a vacation. I'm not sure what extra to be looking out for.
