International honeymoon ideas

So we’re planning our honeymoon for later this year (probably October or November) and are looking for a destination where we can explore at our own pace without too much structure…. We love areas that are dense with small towns, culture, and great food, where we can stop frequently and wander around.

Here are a few places we’re considering:

• La Rioja, Spain
• Alsace Wine Route, France
• Istria Peninsula, Croatia
• Provence, France
• Alentejo region, Portugal
• Slovenia
• Andalusia, Spain
• Transylvania, Romania
• Peloponnese Peninsula, Greece
• Sicily, Italy

We’ll have about 10-14 days, so it’s not out of the question to leave one area and fly to another midway.
