Hey Everyone, so long story short, I'm a little anti "all inclusive resort sit on a beach and drink all vacation" sort of dude. Sorry if that's your thing, it just isn't me. I also majored in Earth Science in College, and seeing the Galapagos where Charles Darwin formed the theory of evolution, all the wildlife, the geology of the place, it's gotta be damn close to my number 1 bucket list destination if not number 1. Basically my plan is to fly to Quito Equador, take a couple days to see Cotapaxi (a 19500 ish foot volcano with glaciers and the namesake of the clothing brand), go back to quito, fly out to the galapgos from quito, stay there for the rest of the honeymoon more or less, 10 days + or – and then go back home.
My question is this: I'm worried that this is my dream and not my wife's. Shes been supportive of the idea so far but I'm worried that she's not telling me the whole story of how she feels. I'm curious if this sounds like a cool trip to ya'll or if I should go with something more traditional for the honeymoon. I would also love some ideas on what to do in the Galapagos or equador while I'm there for anyone who has been there!
Side note: My wife speaks spainish fluently, and I am semi fluent.
