Hi, just want some second opinions on this potential Italy itinerary for our honeymoon. We are looking to travel anytime from September to November ideally.
– Arrive in Venice early on day 1 and stay one night, leave sometime the next day
– Take the train to Florence. We don't want to spend a lot of time in Florence, mainly just see the main things then get a rental car to take into Tuscany to see wine country.
– Planning for 3 nights somewhere in Tuscany, open to recommendations on where to stay.
– Drive back to florence, and maybe detour through Pisa.
– Fly or train to Naples then stay somewhere on the Amalfi Coast, leaning towards Positano right now.
– 3 nights in Amalfi coast area
– Ferry to Capri and spend 2 nights there.
– Ferry to Naples and then fly to Sardinia, undecided where in sardinia yet.
– Stay 3 nights in Sardinia then fly back home
Open to any recommendations on this itinerary (Places to stay, eat or see), or any other info is greatly appreciated.
