Japan and Hawaii

Thinking about our honeymoon for June 2026. One of us wants Hawaii and one of us wants Japan. Hawaii is kinda “on the way” so I would it be nuts to do 3 weeks in Japan and then a week in Hawaii on the way back? We are flying out of Washington DC area. Could also do 4 weeks/1 week? Budget is 25k max. For Japan would like to mostly just find a remote place to chill out so don’t need super fancy accommodations vs for Hawaii would probably want more usual honeymoon level lodging.
