July 2025 Honeymoon Japan or Italy

Hi everyone! Planing our honeymoon now for July 2025. We're getting married June 28th and have narrowed it down to Italy or Japan.

I'm aware of the jubilee happening and affecting crowds but just wanted to know peoples experience in both around July. We are from NYC so humidity isn't completely unbearable for us.

We did get engaged in Japan so that's what's pulling me more towards Italy (it would be our fiest time). However there is so much to do in Japan and we'd have much longer time off for the trip with our honeymoon!
